    Chris Petty is a musician and educator based in Salt Lake City, specializing in drumset, percussion, and music production. He holds a masters degree in jazz studies from the University of Utah, a bachelors in Electronic Production & Design with a minor in Effortless Mastery from Berklee College of Music. 

 

    Building on over a decade of professional experience in the music industry, Chris maintains a busy performance schedule, including drumming on international tours with Pixie and the Partygrass and One Voice Children’s Choir. In addition to performing, he is the Percussion Specialist at Waterford School and Adjunct Professor of Music at Snow College. He also works as a freelance music producer, having earned production, mixing, and mastering credits on dozens of singles and albums.

 

    When not teaching or performing, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, exercising, reading, and video games.
